Use Inline Validation to Make Forms Frustration-Free

Description:

There are few things more frustrating for users than when they think they’ve filled out a form and click submit only to see a list of errors they’ve made. Even worse is when the form wipes all the information they’ve entered. Many users will simply abandon the process at that point. Use inline validation such as a red border or exclamation point as soon as a user makes an error in a field so that they can correct it in the moment. By doing this, you should see your form bounce rate drop and your conversion rate increase.
