If customers find that their card isn’t accepted, they’ll likely only try once more before abandoning their cart. Often, this can be as simple as a mistyped card number or zip code. It’s important to minimize their stress and make it easier for them to try again — especially on mobile. Don’t make customers log in or fill out unwieldy forms to make a purchase. The more hurdles, the more likely they are to quit trying!
