If there’s one golden rule about web forms, it’s that they will malfunction and/or cause confusion among users. Never assume that your forms are fool-proof. For example, if the user enters a password that doesn’t meet the password requirements, don’t let the form reload and dump all the information they’ve already entered. That’s a great way to ensure that users won’t complete the process. Always allow corrections and do-overs!
